The Lebanese American Commission for Democracy (LACD) launched a special Mother’s Day initiative combining digital content and community activities in honor of Lebanese mothers across the diaspora and their role in preserving Lebanese identity and belonging across generations.
The campaign included posts, photos, and short videos shared across LACD’s social media platforms, highlighting the emotional and cultural bond that connects Lebanese people to their homeland despite the distance, as well as the central role Lebanese mothers play in passing on values, love, and a sense of belonging to their children wherever they may be.
As part of the initiative, LACD released a special Mother’s Day Reel featuring emotional messages about Lebanon’s enduring presence in the hearts of Lebanese mothers in the diaspora, emphasizing that Lebanese identity remains alive through family, memory, and the love passed down from one generation to the next.
In addition, LACD Florida organized a social gathering for Mother’s Day that brought together members of the Lebanese community in a warm family atmosphere. The event included a symbolic tribute to mothers and highlighted the importance of human and cultural ties within the Lebanese community in the United States.
LACD affirmed that these initiatives are part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen connections among the Lebanese diaspora and to highlight the essential role Lebanese families  especially mothers  play in preserving national and cultural identity outside Lebanon.
