Lebanon's diplomatic engagement in Europe continued as Walid Haidar, Lebanon's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, met with Bill White, the United States Ambassador to Belgium, to discuss the latest developments in Lebanon and a number of issues of mutual interest.

According to a statement issued by the Lebanese Embassy, the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the current political situation in Lebanon, as well as the upcoming summit between the Lebanese and U.S. presidents in Washington, in addition to several regional and international matters of common concern.

The meeting comes as part of ongoing diplomatic consultations between Lebanon and its international partners, at a time when attention is focused on the next phase of Lebanese-American relations and their potential impact on political, economic, and security issues.

The discussions also reflect the continued role of Lebanon's diplomatic missions in Europe in strengthening ties with friendly nations and closely following developments related to Lebanon on the international stage.
